Our Story

For the woman who believed
the world deserved better tea.

Edith’s Garden Tea Co. was not born in a boardroom. It was born in a dream the quiet, unwavering dream of a woman named Edith Mah, who moved through this world with grace, curiosity, and a deep, abiding love for the healing power of nature.

Edith Mah, founder of Edith’s Garden Tea Co.

Who She Was

A wanderer. A healer. A hostess. A dreamer.

Edith was the kind of person who made you feel at home the moment you walked through her door. Before you had even taken off your coat, a fresh cup of herbal tea was in your hands brewed with intention, offered with love. That was her way.

She traveled the world, collecting stories, savoring cultures, and always seeking out the natural remedies and botanical traditions that local communities had carried for generations. Wellness was not a trend to Edith. It was a way of living a philosophy she wore as naturally as her smile.

The gardens and highlands of Cameroon

The Journey

The trip that changed everything

On her last journey home to Cameroon the country that had shaped her and the land she carried in her heart wherever she traveled Edith found herself walking through lush gardens filled with the herbs she had grown up with. Hibiscus flowers the color of sunset. Guava leaves, cool and fragrant. Soursop, mango, avocado, and bitter leaf each one a medicine, a memory, a piece of Cameroon's soul.

She held those herbs in her hands and she thought of the world. She thought of the people in London and New York, in Paris, Dubai, and Lagos, who had never tasted what she was tasting. Who had never felt the gentle, grounding warmth of a cup brewed from Cameroon's own earth.

“The world deserves to know what Cameroon's garden tastes like.”

That was Edith's vision. Not just a tea company, but a bridge. A way to carry Cameroon's botanical traditions into the hands, the homes, and the hearts of people across the world.

A Life Remembered

The Gift of Welcome

Every guest, every visitor, every stranger who became a friend Edith greeted them with a fresh cup. Tea was her love language.

A World Traveler

She crossed continents and cultures, always finding the botanical wisdom in every place she visited, and always coming home to Cameroon.

Wellness Above All

Natural healing was not a hobby for Edith. It was a conviction. She believed deeply that the earth provides, if only we pay attention.

The Cameroon Dream

On her last trip home, she envisioned a company that would share Cameroon's herbal heritage with the entire world. She named it the Garden.

Her Legacy, Our Mission

She left too soon. Her dream did not.

Edith left this world at a tender age, long before the company she dreamed of could take its first breath. She left behind a family who loved her fiercely, a circle of friends who still feel her absence, and a vision so vivid and so right that we knew we could not let it remain a dream.

This is her company. We are simply the hands that carry it forward. Every pouch of Crimson Bloom hibiscus, every bag of Moonlit Garden soursop, every blend we ship to your door carries her name because it carries her dream.

When you brew a cup of Edith's Garden Tea, you are not just making tea. You are participating in something larger a legacy of wellness, a celebration of Cameroon's botanical heritage, and a quiet promise to a woman who believed the world deserved better, more natural, more soulful medicine.

One cup at a time.
